Description
Helping children feel safe to open up. It’s not always easy to know how to help children open up, especially when they’re feeling big emotions. In this small-group conversation, led by a Spring Health provider, we’ll talk about how to create a home where vulnerability is welcomed and supported. We’ll explore what gets in the way of honest conversations, how caregivers can model emotional openness, and simple ways to help children feel seen, heard, and safe. Whether your child is little or a teen, this is a chance to learn, reflect, and share ideas with others walking a similar path. About the Facilitator: Dr. Amy Marschall, Psy.D. earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut. She completed her pre-doctoral internship through the National Psychology Training Consortium and her post-doctoral residency at Family Psychological Center, PA. Dr. Marschall has been in practice since 2016 and presently runs a full-time private practice, RMH-Therapy, where she provides individual therapy to children and adolescents as well as psychological assessments across the lifespan. She also provides ADHD assessments through ADHD Online and therapy services through Spring Health. In her spare time, Dr. Marschall enjoys reading, making jewelry, and writing.
